This opportunity is ideal for a senior Solution Architect who can simplify complex technology landscapes, reduce technical debt, improve enterprise resilience, and provide strategic guidance across multiple technology initiatives.

Location: Canberra – Onsite

Contract Duration: Initial 12-month contract, with 2 x 12-month extension options
n
Security Clearance Requirement: Due to the nature of this environment, candidates must hold a current TSPV/TSPA clearance.
n

Essential Tasks:
n
n
Lead solution architecture outcomes to support secure,



integrated and strategically aligned technology delivery
n
Drive technology rationalisation by reducing technical debt, duplication and architectural complexity
n
Develop and maintain reference architectures, standards, blueprints and other key architecture artefacts
n
Identify architectural risks, dependencies and emerging technology opportunities while supporting stakeholder collaboration
n
n
Key Criteria:
n
n
Minimum 7+ years' experience in system or platform technical design, software development or system administration
n
Robust capability across Solution Architecture, Systems Design and Requirements Management at SFIA Level 5
n
Demonstrated ability to analyse business and technical requirements and provide strategic architecture guidance
n
Relevant tertiary qualifications in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related discipline
