We're looking for a Creative Lifestyle Coordinator to lead meaningful activities and experiences that bring residents together, support wellbeing and help create a positive and connected community at our Trinder Park Aged Care.
n
Location: Woodridge - QLD
n
Role Type: Full Time (Mon to Fri)
n
Remuneration: $***** - $***** hr + Super + Salary Packaging + Access to staff discounts & advantages.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is creative, organised and passionate about working with older people and enjoys turning ideas into engaging activities and events.

What You'll Do:
n
n
Develop and coordinate a client-centred lifestyle and creative activities program
n
Design activities around residents' interests, abilities, cultural backgrounds and personal preferences
n
Lead individual and group activities, events and creative programs
n
Evaluate activities and make improvements based on resident feedback
n
Build connections with the local community to create new opportunities for residents
n
Lead and coordinate our volunteer program, including recruitment, orientation, training and support
n
Supervise and support Creative Lifestyle Facilitators and volunteers
n
Maintain records and reports to support quality service delivery and accreditation requirements
n
Work closely with residents, families, Care Managers, Service Managers and the wider team
n
Provide direct care activities when required.

What you'll bring
n
n
A relevant qualification in Lifestyle, Leisure, Arts, Drama, Dance, Music Therapy, Occupational Therapy or a related field
n
Experience designing and facilitating activities and events for individuals and groups
n
Strong communication and people skills
n
Ability to lead, support and supervise a team
n
Current First Aid Certificate
n
Queensland Driver's Licence
n
Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or Police Check
n
n




Experience working with older people, people living with dementia, volunteer coordination or administration will be highly regarded.
