Candidates must have civil or demo experience.
Project examples are demolition, bulk earthworks, excavation, retention, piling, foundations, ground improvement, soft and hard landscaping, site remediation and rehabilitation.
Our client is a well-established and market leading civil contractor, they are looking for an experienced and dedicatedDemolition Supervisorto join their growing business in the Bowen Basin Region.
Our client provides their services across a number of industry sectors such as commercial buildings, industrial, mining and resources, transport infrastructure, environmental etc. and you will be responsible for contributing to the successful delivery of challenging projects.
Types of projects include demolition, excavation, retention, piling, foundations, ground improvement, soft and hard landscaping, site remediation and rehabilitation etc.
Typical values from $2.5m to $50m+.
Projects will be greenfield and brownfield projects and will be tier 1 projects.
For demolition candidates,



you must have a demolition qualification (competencies which meet the requirements under AS ********* Demolition of Structures), you will be working under our clients company licence.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Ensuring OH&S; procedures are followed
Assisting in the programming of works
Management of site project teams
Preparation of reports
Resolving site issues in a timely manner
Liaising with key clients and stakeholders
Qualifications and Requirements:
5 to 15+ years' experience in the similar role
Proven ability to effectively lead and delegate
Effective problem solving abilities
Ability to resolve conflict and manage client expectations
High level of organisation and time management skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
