About the prospect




We are seeking two educators to join this highly regarded community-managed service in East Melbourne.
One position is based in theNursery, while the other is within theToddlerprogram.
With every room staffed above ratio, educators have the time, support and resources to build meaningful relationships with children and deliver exceptional early childhood education.
If you have previously worked in a community-managed service, you'll appreciate the strong educational philosophy, collaborative culture and genuine investment in educator wellbeing that sets this organisation apart.
About the role
Build secure, meaningful relationships with children and families
Support children's learning through intentional teaching and play
Contribute to high-quality planning, documentation and assessment
Work collaboratively within an experienced and supportive team
Maintain strong knowledge of the EYLF, NQS and Child Safe Standards
Participate in reflective practice and continuous improvement
Essential requirements
To be considered, you will have:
Previous experience working within acommunity-managed not-for-profit early childhood service(strongly preferred)
Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Careorbe an experienced Certificate III educator committed to commencing your Diploma
Minimumtwo years' experienceworking in a long day care environment.
Strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework, National Quality Standard and Child Safe Standards
High-quality planning and documentation skills
A collaborative, professional and child-focused approach
Current Working with Children Check and Police Check (or willingness to obtain), Child Safety certificates and First Aid.
