As an Accounts Payable Officer, you'll take ownership of end-to-end accounts payable activities, working with suppliers and internal stakeholders across Australia to ensure accurate invoice processing, timely payments, and exceptional service.

Responsibilities:
n
n
Process and manage supplier invoices, ensuring accurate coding, purchase order matching, and timely entry into the finance system.
n
Deliver efficient end-to-end accounts payable services, supporting the accurate and on-time payment of suppliers across the business.
n
Prepare and coordinate weekly and monthly payment runs while maintaining accurate creditor records and account information.
n
Assist with month-end activities, including account reconciliations and ensuring financial records are complete and accurate.
n
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to streamline processes and enhance Accounts Payable performance.
n
Provide high-quality administrative support and collaborate with internal stakeholders, branch teams, and suppliers to resolve queries and maintain strong working relationships.

Skills & Experience:
n
n
Certificate III in Business Administration or Finance, or equivalent experience in a similar role.
n
Demonstrated experience in an Accounts Payable position,
with strong knowledge of invoice processing, purchase order matching, and supplier account management.
n
Proven ability to accurately process high volumes of transactions while maintaining exceptional attention to detail and data integrity.
n
Experience preparing payment runs, reconciling accounts, and supporting month-end financial processes in a busy environment.
n
Strong computer literacy, with confidence using ERP or accounting systems and intermediate Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
n
Well-developed analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate discrepancies and resolve issues efficiently.
