Hospitality NationPty Ltd is a leading construction company based in Queensland. We specialize in building high-quality homes and providing exceptional customer service to our clients. We are currently seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team on a full-time basis.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Perform residential carpentry duties such as building frameworks, installing sub-flooring, attaching exterior cladding, and finishing interior fixtures.
n
Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard
n
Measure and mark cutting lines on materials, using rulers, squares, or marking gauges
n
Follow blueprints and building plans to meet the needs of clients
n
Install structures and fixtures, such as windows, frames, floorings, and trim, using carpenter's hand and power tools
n
Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures and fixtures
n
Inspect and repair wood structures and fixtures for damage or wear
n
Select and order materials and supplies needed for projects
n
Collaborate with other team members and contractors to complete projects on time and within budget
n
Ensure all work is completed according to safety regulations and company standards
n
Maintain a clean and organized work area
n

Qualifications
n
n
Proven experience as a Carpenter




n
Excellent understanding of carpentry techniques and methods, as well as safety practices
n
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and building plans
n
Proficient in using hand and power tools
n
Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labour for extended periods of time
n
Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
n
Valuable time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
n
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
n
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
n
n
Education and Experience
n
n
High school diploma or equivalent
n
Completion of an apprenticeship program or vocational training in carpentry
n
Minimum of 2 years of experience in carpentry or above, preferably in residential construction
n
Additional certifications or licenses in carpentry or related fields are a plus
n

Salary and Benefits
