Description
n
Key Responsibilities.
n
Provide high quality care and supervision for children in accordance with the National Quality Framework (NQF)
n
Assist in planning, implementing and evaluating educational programs appropriate to children's developmental needs.
n
Promote children's physical, emotional, social, wellbeing and intellectual development.
n
Maintain a safe, hygienic, and stimulating learning environment.
n
Observe children's progress and communicate effectively with families regarding their development.
n
Assist children with meals, hygiene, rest and daily routines.
n
Work collaboratively with educators, families and management.
n
Ensure compliance with the Education and Care services National Law and Regulations, workplace policies and child protection requirements.
n
Salary. Range $70,000 - $80,000 per year.

Additional Requirements

Essential Requirements · Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care. · At least one year of relevant full time work experience as an Early Childhood Educator/Childcare educator. · Current Working With Children Check ( or ability to obtain). · Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificates ( or willingness to obtain before commencement) · Have completed Mandatory Reporting – Protecting Children. · Have current Foundations of Child Safety Training Course 1 and Course 2 · Have current Advance Child Safety Training Course 3 and Course 4. · Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills. · Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team. · Knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), Victorian Early Years Learning Development Framework (VEYLDF) and the National Quality Standards (NQS)
