About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Business Analyst to join a critical transformation program within a prominent recently privatised government agency. You will bridge the gap between complex technical data environments, digital service delivery, and enterprise-wide change management.
n
In this 12-month contract, you will be instrumental in ensuring that our data-driven digital solutions are robustly tested, seamlessly integrated, and effectively adopted across the organisation. You will act as the "translator" between technical engineering teams and non-technical business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Data & Digital Analysis: Gather and document requirements for complex data migration projects and digital product enhancements.
n
Testing Oversight: Define acceptance criteria, develop test scenarios, and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure solutions meet rigorous performance standards.
n
Change Management: Map business processes, identify impacts of digital transformation, and develop documentation and training materials to support end-user adoption.
n
Stakeholder Engagement: Facilitate workshops to elicit requirements from both IT architects and operational business heads.
n
Technical Liaison:



Work closely with developers to ensure the technical design aligns with the documented business intent.

What We Are Looking For
n
n
Proven Experience: A minimum of 5+ years of experience as a Technical BA, specifically within data-heavy environments.
n
Cross-Functional Expertise: Demonstrated ability to manage the lifecycle from initial data/digital requirements through to testing and change implementation.
n
Testing Mindset: Strong understanding of testing methodologies (System Testing, UAT, Regression Testing) and defect management processes.
n
Change Management Capability: Experience in managing the "people side" of technical change, including impact assessments and transition planning.
n
Agile Proficiency: Comfortable working in an iterative, fast-paced delivery environment.
n
Adaptability: Experience working in the public sector or large, regulated/privatised organisations is highly desirable.
