Key Responsibilities
n
n
Design and engineer Balance of Plant (BoP) electrical systems.
n
Work on LV/MV/HV switchgear, transformers, generator feeders, DC systems, grounding and auxiliary power systems.
n
Prepare SLDs, cable sizing, protection settings, technical specifications and engineering documentation.
n
Ensure designs comply with Australian Standards (AS/NZS).
n
Review engineering designs and documentation from suppliers and subcontractors.
n
Provide technical support during procurement, installation and commissioning.
n
Resolve site technical queries and Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
n
Conduct site inspections and maintain accurate As-Built documentation.
n




Review and approve technical and commissioning documents.
n
n
Key Skills
n
n
Degree in Electrical or Power Engineering.
n
10+ years of experience in power plants, industrial electrical systems or heavy infrastructure.
n
Robust experience with LV/MV/HV systems, switchgear and transformers.
n
Strong knowledge of Australian Standards (AS/NZS).
n
NER registration with Engineers Australia.
n
Experience with AutoCAD/CAE and ETAP.
n
Experience with BIM/3D design and Revizto is desirable.
n
Hydropower project experience is highly desirable.
n
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
n
