Our client is seeking an experienced Small Animal Locum Veterinarian to provide short-term clinical support from 24 August through to 31 October. The role offers a balanced combination of consultations and surgery within an established four-vet small animal setting, with a varied caseload and solid opportunities for veterinarians who particularly enjoy surgical work.

Longer-term availability across the full placement is preferred, although blocks of one week or more may also be considered. Some sole-charge shifts form part of the position, so applicants should be comfortable working independently and making confident clinical decisions. There are no out-of-hours or public holiday requirements.

Qualifications Needed
n

Bachelor of Veterinary Science or an equivalent qualification recognised in Australia
n
Minimum of two years of experience working within veterinary practice
n
Confidence managing both consultation and general surgical cases
n
Ability to undertake occasional sole-charge shifts independently
n
Strong clinical judgement and professional client communication skills
n
