Support Worker Co is a leading Support Worker Agency that provides best-fit Disability Support Workers to Disability Service providers across Australia.

We are currently seeking Casual Support Workers to support adult NDIS participants in SILs, & respite services in Gladstone and surrounding suburbs.
n
Female Support Workers are preferred for this role due to female clients' requests with personal hygiene needs.
n
Overview Of The Role
n
n
We have opportunities to support people in SIL arrangements & respite services.
n
24-hour care model, meaning staff are required to work a combination of shifts - morning (from 6am), afternoon (from 2pm) and sleep over shifts.
n
Assist participants with the range of personal activities including hygiene support, medication assistance, manual handling, domestic assistance & meals.
n
Following specific positive behaviour support plans (PBSP) Assist participants with engaging in community, social and recreational activities.
n
Support people within both group settings and 1-on-1 arrangements.
n
Use a company vehicle and/or your own vehicle to transport participants to community-based outings.
n
n
What you need:
n
n
Completed or currently studying a Certificate III in Individual Support (or relevant)
n




12 months paid experience supporting people in SILs with physical & intellectual disabilities.
n
Australian Driver's License
n
First Aid Certificate
n
CPR
n
NDIS Worker Screening Check
n
Working with Children Check (Blue Card) for paid employment
n
National Police Check (obtained within the last 6 months or willing to apply)
n
NDIS Worker Orientation Module
n
Reliable smart phone with data
n
