We're working with a growing building automation specialist in Sydney that is looking to add a BMS Commissioning Technician to their team.
n
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on BMS qualified looking to build their commissioning experience, work across a range of commercial and critical building projects, and develop their career within the building automation industry.
n
The Role
n
As a BMS Commissioning Technician, you will be involved in the testing, commissioning and handover of BMS and HVAC control systems across a variety of projects.
n
Your responsibilities will include:
n
n
Commissioning and testing BMS and HVAC control systems
n
Point-to-point testing and fault finding
n
Testing sensors, actuators, controllers and field devices
n
Assisting with BMS programming and system integration
n
Working with protocols including BACnet, Modbus and TCP/IP
n
Identifying and resolving commissioning issues
n
Supporting project teams through testing and handover
n
Completing commissioning documentation and reports
n
Working closely with engineers, electricians,



contractors and clients on site
n
n
About You
n
We're looking for someone with experience in BMS, HVAC controls, electrical controls or building automation.
n
Ideally, you will have:
n
n
Previous BMS or controls experience
n
Experience with commissioning, testing or fault finding
n
Understanding of HVAC systems and controls
n
Knowledge of BACnet and/or Modbus
n
Strong electrical and controls fundamentals
n
Ability to read electrical drawings and control schematics
n
A willingness to work on site across Sydney
n
Good communication and problem-solving skills
n
