About the Role
n
We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to support a major Federal Government ICT transformation and modernization program.
n
You will work closely with development, cloud/platform, integration and cyber security teams to build and maintain secure, resilient and highly automated application environments.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Design, build and maintain complex Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
n
Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using ARM templates, Bicep and YAML.
n
Automate deployments and operational processes using PowerShell.
n
Manage development, testing and production hosting environments.
n
Implement monitoring, alerting and proactive issue-resolution capabilities.
n
Integrate automated testing and security controls, including SAST and DAST, into CI/CD pipelines.
n
Troubleshoot complex applications across cloud and on-premises environments.
n
Collaborate with developers, Cyber Security, integration teams and other technical stakeholders.
n
Maintain technical documentation covering deployments,



configurations and DevOps best practices.
n
Extensive Azure DevOps experience, including complex pipeline design and maintenance.
n
Robust CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code experience using Azure DevOps and/or GitHub.
n
Strong Git knowledge, including branching strategies and code reviews.
n
Hands‐on Azure experience, particularly Azure App Service and related cloud services.
n
Experience across major cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS or GCP.
n
Strong PowerShell scripting and automation capability.
n
Experience with ARM templates, Bicep and YAML.
n
Strong application troubleshooting skills across on-prem and cloud environments.
n
Experience supporting software development, build and deployment processes.
n
Exposure to cloud optimization/FinOps and resource right-sizing.
n

Highly Desirable
n
n
Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
n
Experience implementing build and deployment systems within complex enterprise environments.
n
Previous experience within Federal Government or highly regulated environments.
