Leebon Barber Shop has been proudly serving customers since April ****. We specialize in a wide range of male grooming services, including all types of haircuts, shaves, and hair washing. Our shop is conveniently located within the well-established Dog Swamp Shopping Centre, a landmark that has been a part of the community for over 50 years.

As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a skilled and dedicated Barber to join our team in Yokine, Western Australia.

Position Details: Barber
n
Key Responsibilities:
n
Haircuts & Styling:
n
n
Provide haircuts for clients based on their requests, preferences, and best-suited styles.
n
Trim beards, mustaches, and sideburns.
n
Perform shaves and other grooming services.
n
Offer advice on hair care and maintenance.
n
n
Client Consultation:
n
n
Consult with clients about their desired look and make recommendations on style.
n
n
Customer Service:
n
n
Provide a welcoming and friendly environment for all customers.
n
Ensure high-quality customer service and satisfaction, including building rapport and retaining customers.
n
Manage appointment bookings and walk-ins in an organized manner.
n
n
Barbering Equipment Maintenance:
n
n
Clean and sanitize all tools and equipment before and after each use (razors, scissors, clippers, etc.).
n
Regularly inspect and maintain grooming tools to ensure they are in positive working condition.
n
n
Shop Cleanliness & Organization:
n
n
Maintain a clean and safe working environment, including the barbershop area, workstations, and common spaces.
n
Sweep or vacuum hair clippings from the floor after every haircut.
n
n




Cash Handling & Sales:
n
n
Handle customer payments accurately, using cash or credit/debit cards.
n
n
Health & Safety Compliance:
n
n
Ensure client safety during all services, including proper use of equipment and handling of chemicals (if applicable).
n
n
Team Collaboration:
n
n
Work collaboratively with other barbers and shop staff to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
n
n
Time Management:
n
n
Manage your time efficiently to ensure you meet appointment schedules and client expectations.
n
Balance high volume and walk-in clients while maintaining a high standard of work.
n

Skill and Experience Required:
n
n
Proficient in all types of men's haircuts, including fades, buzz cuts, and textured styles.
n
Expertise in traditional and modern shaving techniques, including straight razor shaves.
n
Skilled in beard grooming, trimming, and shaping, including full beard and mustache grooming.
n
Ability to provide customized haircuts based on face shape, hair type, and client preferences.
n
Strong ability to assess client needs and provide tailored hair and grooming recommendations.
n
Skilled in providing high-quality services while working within a set time frame, especially during busy periods.
n
Skilled in handling customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally.
n
Proficient in using a variety of barbering tools and equipment, such as clippers, razors, scissors, and straight razors.
n
Flexibility to adapt to different styles and requests, ensuring a high level o f client satisfaction.
n
