Due to consistent growth, this well-known and trusted national distributor of industrial low and medium voltage electrical and automation products is seeking a Business Development Manager, in Brisbane.
n
The position
n
Calling on Industrial Clients and Tier 1-3 Electrical Contractors, the aim of this role is to develop and implement a successful sales strategy for major accounts, both existing and new.
n
You will be supplying a wide range of quality power distribution products focusing on drives, switchgear and automation products, whilst representing a genuine market leader that is highly regarded and widely used across Australia.
n

Master vendor agreements and representation for major global brands

Duties include:
n
n
To canvass, identify and negotiate with potential customers.
n
To prepare and supervise such marketing and advertising plans.
n
To deploy a successful sales strategy and tactics for future growth with key accounts and target markets.
n
Contribute to the profitable growth of the business.
n
Develop strong customer relations with key accounts.
n
Provide sales support and training to customers.
n
n
Your key skills and competencies will include:
n
n
An electrical trade or engineering qualification is preferred but not essential.
n
Knowledge of power distribution or cable products is essential.
n
Relationships with Switchboard Builders and Tier 1-3 electrical contractors are essential.
n
A structured and planned approach to sales with face to face customer experience.
n
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
n
Willingness to work as part of a team, to learn and create solutions.
n
n
