Public Sector People are partnering with an established purpose-led organisation to appoint a Projects & Operations Manager to strengthen people leadership, project delivery and operational processes.
n
This is a broad, hands‐on leadership role requiring someone who can bring calm, structure and accountability to a complex service environment while supporting positive outcomes for the communities the organisation serves.

Our client is a large, establish Aboriginal Foundation delivering programs, services and financial support to communities across Western Australia.
n
Working with community members, partner organisations and external service providers, the organisation is focused on delivering accessible, equitable and sustainable outcomes.
n
The organisation is entering an important period of operational development, creating an opportunity for an experienced leader to strengthen its people, processes and service delivery.
n
About the Role
n
Reporting directly to the CEO, the Projects & Operations Manager will lead the team, projects and operational processes supporting the organisation's programs and services.
n
While project delivery forms part of the position,



this is not a traditional Project Manager role. The priority is to appoint an experienced operational people leader who can:
n

Bring the team together and establish transparent expectations and accountability
n
Improve communication, coordination and day‐to‐day service delivery
n
Review and streamline operational processes, workflows and controls
n
Act as a calm and confident escalation point for complex matters
n
Identify the causes of recurring issues and implement sustainable solutions
n
Lead projects from planning and implementation through to evaluationSupport the implementation and improvement of operational systems
n
Manage contracts, partnerships and relationships with external providers
n
Build trusted relationships with community members and partner organisations
n
Develop effective reporting for the CEO, Executive and Board
n
n
About You
n
You will be a calm, considered and confident operational leader who can bring structure and accountability to a complex service environment. You will be comfortable resolving immediate challenges while also addressing their underlying causes and building more effective ways of working.
