ABOUT TIMBECON
n
Timbecon is one of Australia's leading specialist woodworking retailers, supplying quality tools, machinery and workshop equipment to woodworkers across Australia.
n
For more than 35 years, we've built our business around a simple idea: woodworkers serving woodworkers. Today, we operate a growing national eCommerce business alongside our retail stores and distribution operations in Melbourne and Perth, working with some of the world's most respected woodworking brands.
n
We're an ambitious business with a strong growth agenda, and as we continue to expand our product range, supplier network and national operations, having a reliable and efficient supply chain is increasingly important to what we do.
n
That's where this role comes in.
n
ABOUT THE ROLE
n
We're looking for a highly organised and commercially minded Supply Chain & Logistics Coordinator to take ownership of the coordination of our international inbound freight and help keep product moving efficiently through the Timbecon supply chain.
n
This is a hands‐on role with genuine responsibility and autonomy. You'll be a key point of coordination for international freight movements, managing the process from purchase order through to shipment, documentation, arrival and inventory receipt.
n
Working closely with our Distribution, Finance, Inventory and Wholesale teams, as well as overseas suppliers and freight partners, you'll help ensure stock arrives on time, with the right documentation and at the right cost.
n
Your responsibilities will include coordinating international inbound shipments,

maintaining accurate freight and shipping documentation, managing purchase orders and shipment information within NetSuite, monitoring shipment progress and resolving issues or delays as they arise.
n
You'll also support purchasing and finance administration, including purchase order creation and management, supplier documentation, freight cost reconciliation and ensuring accurate information flows through the business.
n
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
n
n
Coordinate international inbound freight from overseas suppliers through to receipt at our Australian distribution operations.
n
Manage shipping schedules, freight documentation, purchase orders and inbound inventory information.
n
Liaise with freight forwarders, suppliers and internal stakeholders to keep shipments moving and proactively resolve delays or discrepancies.
n
Create, maintain and manage purchase orders within NetSuite.
n
Ensure shipping, purchasing and inventory information is accurate and up to date across our systems.
n
Coordinate documentation required for customs clearance and inbound freight.
n
Support the reconciliation of freight costs, supplier invoices and associated finance administration.
n
Work closely with Distribution and Inventory teams to provide visibility of incoming stock and expected arrival dates.
n
Support our Wholesale team with accurate inventory,

order and billing information where required.
n
Identify opportunities to improve supply chain processes, accuracy and efficiency.
n
Create customer invoicing and manage customer timely payments
n
Manage logistics and shipping, as an end‐to‐end process
n
n
ABOUT YOU
n
You're organised, detail-focused and comfortable taking ownership of a process from beginning to end. You enjoy working across different teams, keeping multiple moving parts on track and solving problems before they become bigger ones.
n
Ideally, you'll bring experience in supply chain, logistics, freight coordination, purchasing or inventory administration, with exposure to international freight highly regarded.
n
Experience with NetSuite or another ERP system would be advantageous, but just as important is your ability to learn quickly, communicate clearly and maintain a high level of accuracy.
n
You'll suit Timbecon if you're someone who likes getting things done, takes responsibility for their work and wants the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution within a growing Australian business.
n
WHY TIMBECON?
n
This isn't a role where you'll simply process paperwork in the background. You'll sit at the centre of an important part of our operation and have real visibility across how products move from our international suppliers through to our warehouses, stores and customers.
n
You'll join a growing Australian business with a passionate customer base, an expanding portfolio of leading international brands and plenty of opportunity to improve the way we work as we continue to scale.
