Estimator required to join a Tier 3 principal contractor based in Inner Sydney to work on various projects within the commercial construction space.

This contractor is a Australian-owned and nationally established business, with a strong presence in the mid-sized commercial construction space. They pride themselves on the successful and timely delivery of projects valued up to $10m.

As the Estimator, you will be responsible for:
n
n
Creating tenders from first principals
n
Negotiating with subcontractors and suppliers
n
Risk analysis of project via the plans and also programs
n
Collecting and analysing the scope of works to estimate the cost of labour, machines, subcontractors,



time and any other associated costs which may impact the project
n
Setting programs and budgets from structure through to handover
n
n
To be considered for the position of Estimator you will require:
n
n
Tertiary qualifications in Engineering or Quantity Surveying
n
Experience in estimating projects valued between $1m to $10m
n
Construction and Fit out & Refurb experience is highly regarded
n
Sound knowledge of the NSW construction market including sub-contractors
n
n
