Job Description
A fantastic opportunity has become available to join a well-established production facility located in Kilsyth. We are currently seeking experienced and reliable Machine Operators who are productive, safety-focused and committed to ongoing work. The role will initially commence on Day Shift; however flexibility may be required to work Afternoon Shift depending on production requirements and customer demand.

About the Role
n
n
Operating and monitoring production machinery
n
Setting up and adjusting machines as required
n
Loading materials and products into machinery
n
Monitoring the production process to ensure machines are running efficiently
n
Performing quality inspections on finished products
n
Identifying and reporting machine faults or production issues
n
Ensuring products are correctly assembled, packaged and labelled
n
Completing general production and manual handling duties
n
Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work area
n
Rotating through different areas of the production facility as required
n
n
To Be Successful, You Will:
n
n




Have previous Machine Operator experience
n
Have a strong understanding of manufacturing and production processes
n
Be confident operating and monitoring production machinery
n
Have robust attention to detail and a focus on quality
n
Be mechanically minded with the ability to identify basic machine issues
n
Have excellent communication skills
n
Be physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
n
Be willing to learn the entire site operation and rotate through different duties
n
Be reliable, punctual and committed to ongoing work
n
Experience within the packaging industry will be highly regarded
n
n
Work Hours
n
n
Day Shift Monday to Thursday: 7:00am - 3:00pm Friday: 7:00am - 1:00pm
n
n
You must be available to work Monday to Friday on an ongoing basis and be able to commit to overtime when required.
n
