Full-time - $80,000 + super

Ascent Speech Pathology is a leading provider of speech pathology services dedicated to helping only adults achieve their communication and swallowing goals. We are a small but currently growing team in our current location at Varsity Lakes Day Hospital.

What this role is for a speech pathologist who
n
n
Wants to work with adults only, no paediatrics, ever.
n
Has experience (or a strong interest) in voice disorders and progressive neurological conditions.
n
Is self-driven and confident managing their own caseload, backed by structured support.
n
Values genuine clinical depth over volume you'll build real relationships with your clients over time.
n
Will service both in clinic and home visits.
n

Caseload: Building to approx. 25 client‐facing hours/week, scaled to your experience.

What we are looking for
n
n
A degree in Speech Pathology or equivalent qualification recognised in Australia.
n
Current Speech Pathology Australia (SPA) membership.
n
NDIS Worker Screening Check.
n
Current National Police Check.
n
Comfortable driving your own caseload, with structured support behind you.
n
Experience with voice disorders and/or progressive neurology (e.g. Parkinson's, MND, dementia).
n
A genuine excitement about working exclusively with adults.
n

Strong clinical assessment and intervention skills for the adult population.
n
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with clients, families and colleagues.
n
Ability to work independently whilst contributing effectively to a team environment.
n
Excellent organisational and time management skills.
