The role

Backend engineering across TypeScript and Node.js in production
n
Raw SQL on PostgreSQL - joins, aggregations, query optimisation
n
Work confidently within AWS environments - Lambda, ECS and similar
n
Build and ship features end to end with real ownership
n
Work closely with senior and lead engineers to deliver high quality solutions
n

The person
n
n
Strong TypeScript and Node.js application code in production
n




Solid PostgreSQL and raw SQL capability
n
3 to 6 years genuine backend engineering experience
n
Comfortable in AWS - you don't need to own the infrastructure but you know your way around it
n
Not a frontend developer with a fullstack title - real backend depth matters here
n
