Our client is a growing and well-established engineering consultancy delivering practical and value-engineered solutions across a diverse range of projects within the building services industry.

As part of their continued growth they have the opportunity to add an additional mechanical engineer in a permanent, full time position.
n
This role will be based our of their Newcastle office.
n
About your new role
n
As a Mechanical Engineer, you will work closely with clients, architects, builders and other engineering disciplines to develop practical and value-engineered HVAC solutions.
n
Your responsibilities will include:
n
n
Designing and developing HVAC systems and components in line with project requirements and specifications.
n
Creating HVAC schematics, layouts and detailed designs using Autodesk Revit.
n
Collaborating with architects, builders and other engineers to ensure effective system integration.
n
Preparing technical reports, specifications and project documentation.
n
Providing technical support to construction teams during installation and commissioning.
n




Identifying technical issues and developing solutions to improve system performance and reliability.
n
Building strong client relationships and contributing to the delivery of value-engineered solutions.
n

About you
n
To be successful in this position, you will have:
n
n
A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
n
Minimum 4+ years experience in HVAC design and engineering.
n
Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, design principles and relevant industry standards.
n
Proficiency in Autodesk Revit and other relevant Autodesk products.
n
Existing registered design practitioner status or an interest in progressing towards being registered is advantageous.
n
The ability to work autonomously while contributing effectively to a collaborative team.
n
Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
n
