Business Development Consultant – Labour Hire

Sydney, NSW | Full-Time | Base + Super + Uncapped Commission

Step In Recruitment is growing, and we're looking for an experienced Business Development Consultant who knows the labour hire industry and loves building new business.
n
This is a genuine sales role with one clear objective – build relationships, win recent accounts and grow your client portfolio.
n
The Role
n
You'll be actively out in the market meeting businesses, visiting sites, developing relationships and identifying new labour hire opportunities.
n
You'll also have dedicated lead-generation and market-mapping support, helping you identify target businesses and decision-makers so you can focus on developing and converting opportunities.
n
You'll be responsible for:
n
n
New business development and client acquisition
n
Face-to-face prospecting, client meetings and site visits
n
Market mapping and territory development
n
Building your own network and sales pipeline
n
Following up internally generated leads
n
Preparing and following up quotes
n
Progressing opportunities through to conversion
n
Reactivating dormant accounts
n
Building and growing your client portfolio
n
n
About You
n
You'll bring:
n
n
Business Development experience within the labour hire industry
n




Strong face-to-face sales and relationship-building skills
n
Experience in market mapping and developing new opportunities
n
Confidence engaging with decision-makers
n
Strong commercial awareness
n
A proactive, self-driven approach
n
Current Australian driver's licence – essential
n
n
An established industry network would be highly regarded.
n
JobAdder experience is a bonus, but not essential.
