The Supply Chain Administrator supports CAPS Australia's supply chain operations by coordinating procurement administration, logistics activities, inventory processes, and warehouse support functions. The role ensures the accurate and timely processing of supply chain transactions, effective coordination of freight and logistics, and prompt resolution of operational issues.

Role Scope:
n
This is a cross‐functional role working across supply chain, warehouse, and branch operations. The position works closely with internal stakeholders including supply chain, sales, service, and warehouse teams, as well as external suppliers and freight providers.
n
Duties and Responsibilities:
n
SUPPLY CHAIN ADMINISTRATION & COORDINATION
n
n
Manage document control systems (UMANGO)? and maintain accurate records
n
Administer quarantine stock processes and compliance requirements
n
Manage damage in transit and insurance claims
n
Investigate shipment and order discrepancies
n
Process domestic and international freight invoices
n
Support supplier onboarding and data setup
n
Maintain and improve supply chain processes and procedures
n
Assist with stocktakes and inventory accuracy
n
n
LOGISTICS & FREIGHT COORDINATION
n
n
Coordinate freight bookings, returns, and transfers
n




Track freight movements and manage delays
n
Maintain container tracking (FCL/LCL) data
n
Manage POD requests
n
n
WAREHOUSE & INVENTORY SUPPORT
n
n
Provide warehouse admin support including picking and receipting
n
Assist with stock discrepancies and inventory control
n
Support warehouse organisation and bin locations
n
Provide relief storeperson support when required
n
n
BRANCH & ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT
n
n
Manage incoming and outgoing mail
n
Maintain stationery supplies
n
n
Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
n
n
Supply chain or logistics experience
n
ERP system experience (Pronto preferred)
n
Robust communication and organisation skills
n
n
Location: Cambridge, TAS Reports To: Warehouse & Logistics Supervisor Type: Full-time
n
Salary range: $78,000 – $90,000 per annum + superannuation (dependent on experience)
