Location: Ballina, NSW
n Roster: Morning shifts, 6:30 am - 2:00 pm (minimum 20 hours per week)

Cater Care is seeking a friendly and reliable Catering Assistant to join our aged care team at one of our sites in Ballina, NSW on a part-time basis.
n

In this role, you will assist with food preparation, meal service, and maintaining kitchen cleanliness and hygiene standards, while providing excellent customer service and maintaining a skilled presentation at all times.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Prepare and assemble food items including salads, sandwiches, and texture-modified meals
n
Assist with meal service,



ensuring a high standard of presentation and customer service
n
Restock supplies before, during, and after service periods
n
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and dining areas, including dishwashing duties
n
Set tables and assist with plating and meal distribution
n

Desired Skills and Experience
n
About You
n
n
Previous experience in food preparation and/or customer service
n
Experience in contract catering, aged care, healthcare, or food service environments is desirable
n
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
n
Ability to work effectively within a team environment
n
Flu Vaccination and National Criminal History Check, or willingness to obtain
n
