This is an exciting opportunity to join a respected Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisation (ACCO) at the beginning of a new program, helping shape practice, build strong community relationships and support Aboriginal children and families through culturally safe, trauma-informed services.

About the Role
n
Working within a multidisciplinary team, you'll provide strengths-based, trauma-informed case management to children, young people and families, supporting them to remain safely together wherever possible.
n
You'll be responsible for:
n
n
Delivering family preservation case management
n
Completing family assessments, safety planning and risk assessments
n
Developing family-led case plans
n
Undertaking home visits and community-based support
n
Working closely with Family Support Workers and key stakeholders
n
Building strong relationships with Aboriginal children, families and communities
n
Maintaining high-quality case notes and documentation
n
n
About You
n
n
Demonstrated case work experience within Family Preservation, Child Protection, Intensive Family Support or a related setting
n
Strong understanding of trauma-informed practice and child protection
n
Excellent relationship-building and communication skills
n
Diploma in Community Services (or equivalent), or significant relevant experience
n
