Monday to Friday, 76 hours per fortnight, 9 day fortnight

Attractive salary package of circa $190,928 per annum (including superannuation and vehicle allowance)

Looking for an opportunity to lead significant community projects and help shape the future of the region?

This diverse leadership role combines project delivery, asset management, aquatic facility oversight and stakeholder engagement.
n
Reporting to the Manager Fleet and Facilities, you'll provide strategic and technical advice, drive continuous improvement, and ensure Council's community assets are safe, sustainable, and fit for purpose.
n

This position requires the completion of a satisfactory Criminal History Check - Police Certificate (Australia Wide Name Only Police Check).

What we are looking for
n
n
Bachelor of Engineering qualification with RPEQ registration (or the ability to obtain) and Pool Plant Operator certification (or willingness to obtain).
n
Demonstrated leadership experience managing teams and delivering capital works, infrastructure, and operational projects.
n
Robust knowledge of aquatic facility operations, contract management, and relevant legislative and WHS requirements.
n
Proven financial management skills, including budgeting, expenditure monitoring, and asset lifecycle planning.
n
Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, report writing, and relationship-building skills,
with a strong customer and community focus
n

Application Criteria
n
n
Proven experience managing contracts, service agreements and stakeholder relationships, including the ability to negotiate positive outcomes with internal and external parties.
n
Significant knowledge of aquatic facility operations, relevant legislative requirements and Workplace Health & Safety standards, together with experience managing associated risks and asset performance.
n
Strong financial management capability including budget development, expenditure monitoring, lifecycle planning and reporting.
n
Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to lead, guide and motivate your team to plan and deliver both daily operational goals and long-term strategic objectives.
n
