Tax Accountant - MUST BE BASED IN AUSTRALIA
What You'll Do
Prepare and review income tax returns, BAS, and financial statements for individuals, companies, trusts, and partnerships
Assist with year-end tax planning and identify opportunities for clients to improve outcomes
Manage ATO and ASIC lodgements, registrations, and compliance tasks
Liaise directly with clients, providing clear advice on tax obligations and business performance
Collaborate with and support junior team members
Use cloud-based platforms such as Xero and MYOB
What We're Looking For
4–8 years' experience in public practice
Sound knowledge of Australian tax legislation, compliance, and reporting standards
CA/CPA qualified or actively working toward certification
Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail
Excellent communication skills — both written and verbal
A team player who enjoys solving problems and helping clients succeed
