APG Workforce is currently recruiting for a Day Shift Safety Inspector based in Mill Park, VIC. This role is ideal for a motivated safety professional who is passionate about maintaining secure work settings, ensuring WHS compliance, and promoting a strong workplace safety culture.

Key Responsibilities

/n

/n
Conduct workplace inspections, safety audits, and workplace risk assessments.

/n
Identify hazards and implement corrective and preventative actions.

/n
Ensure compliance with Australian WHS legislation, company policies, and safety procedures.

/n
Investigate workplace incidents, injuries, hazards, and near misses.

/n
Prepare incident reports and maintain accurate safety documentation.

/n
Deliver site inductions, toolbox talks, and workplace safety training.

/n
Monitor the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

/n
Maintain safety registers, inspection records, permits,



and compliance documentation.

/n
Work collaboratively with supervisors and employees to improve workplace health and safety.

/n
Promote a positive safety culture across all departments.

/n/n

Skills & Experience

/n

/n
Relevant WHS qualifications and/or demonstrated experience in a Safety Inspector, WHS Officer, HSE Advisor, or similar role are essential.

/n
Strong knowledge of Australian Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) legislation.

/n
Experience conducting safety audits, inspections, incident investigations, and risk assessments.

/n
Excellent communication, reporting, and problem-solving skills.

/n
High attention to detail with strong organisational skills.

/n
Ability to build positive working relationships across all levels of the business.

/n
Current Driver/'s Licence and reliable transport.

/n
Full Australian Working Rights.
