The Client
Our client is a part of the Iconic Snowy Hydro 2.0 project in Cooma. They are a leading heavy mechanical engineering, services and contracting business operating throughout Australia and New Zealand in major capital cities and regional locations. They perform an integral role in the development of ANZ infrastructure across mining and resources, transport and power markets.
Location: Lobbs Hole, NSW
Roster: 14/7 FIFO – 12-hour day shifts
Salary: $100k - $120k + Super + 25% Site Uplift

The Role
Reporting to the
Site HSE Manager
, the HSE Administrator plays a vital role in keeping our HSE systems, records, and reporting running smoothly. You'll be the organisational backbone of the HSE team — ensuring documentation is accurate, training and compliance records are up to date, and the team has what it needs to deliver on its safety objectives.
This is a hands-on, people-facing role. You'll work closely with the Site HSE Manager, HSE Advisors, the Project Management Team, subcontractors, and client representatives, supporting the safe and compliant delivery of the Snowy 2.0 Project.
What You'll Be Doing
Maintaining HSE documentation, registers, records, forms, procedures, and management system requirements
Administering HSE software platforms, databases, and reporting systems
Coordinating inductions, training records, competency matrices, and licence verification
Preparing and distributing HSE reports, statistics, meeting minutes, and presentations
Tracking incidents, hazards, inspections, audits, observations, and corrective actions
Coordinating medical assessments, health monitoring, and compliance documentation
Scheduling HSE meetings, training sessions, toolbox talks, audits, and inspections
Supporting onboarding by ensuring HSE documentation is complete prior to mobilisation
What We're Looking For
Certificate IV or higher in Business Administration, Work Health and Safety, or a related discipline
Prior administrative experience supporting HSE, safety, construction, infrastructure, mining, or energy projects (preferred)
Strong attention to detail and a genuine commitment to confidentiality
Clear, skilled written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage across all levels of a project team
Site Conditions
Roster: 14 days onsite / 7 days off

Project Information
Snowy 2.0 is the next generation of the iconic Snowy Mountains Hydroelectric Scheme, and construction of this major pumped hydro project is well underway. Once complete, the Scheme will provide **** megawatts of dispatchable, on-demand renewable power and approximately 350,000 megawatt hours of large-scale energy storage to the Australian National Electricity Market.
