A global software organisation is seeking an experiencedDevSecOps Team Leaderto guide a small, highly technical group and drive automation, security, and operational excellence across a mission-critical platform.

The Opportunity:
Lead a high-performing DevSecOps team of two engineers, with the mandate toshape strategy and grow the function.
Partner directly with executive leadership to influence company-wide automation, orchestration, and security practices.
Work with cutting-edge observability tooling such asDatadog, while ensuring compliance and security across all business units.
Position yourself forfuture senior technology leadership, with a clear path to broader responsibilities.
What You'll Do:
Inspire & Mentor– coach and develop a talented engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation and accountability.
Drive Automation– champion CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code and contemporary deployment practices.
Security & Compliance– oversee DevSecOps strategy and enterprise-wide security posture.




Collaborate & Influence– work with senior stakeholders to align operations with business objectives.
What We're Looking For:
Strong background incloud infrastructure, automation, and CI/CD.
Strong CI/CD expertise (Jenkins preferred) and scripting skills (Python ideal)
Solid AWS knowledge (CloudFormation/CDK, IAM, Lambda, networking fundamentals)
A collaborative, customer-focused mindset — proactive about automation and improvement
Demonstrated experienceleading or mentoring DevOps/SRE/Platform teams(or ready to step into leadership from a senior engineer role).
Deep understanding ofsecurity best practicesand compliance frameworks.
Excellentsoft skills– proactive, influential communicator who builds trust across departments.
Ambition and drive toprogress into a more senior leadership role.
Remuneration:$190k base + super, with a pay range of A$190,******/yr - A$190,******/yr
Location:Sydney CBD (Hybrid 2 days a week office)
