We are looking for an experienced
Lead Playwright Architect
to design, build, and scale modern UI test automation frameworks using
Playwright
.
Exp: 8 years (6 years relevant in Playwright)
Responsibilities
Architect and lead end-to-end UI automation frameworks using
Playwright
Define automation standards, best practices, and coding guidelines
Lead POC development and framework enhancements
Integrate Playwright with
CI/CD pipelines
(GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, etc.)
Collaborate with developers to enable shift‐left testing
Review automation code and mentor QA engineers
Provide technical leadership for test strategy and execution
Ensure automation scalability, maintainability, and performance
Hands‐on experience in
test automation architecture & framework design
Experience with




CI/CD integration
Knowledge of
BDD/TDD
and Agile methodologies
Strong experience with
Git, version control, and code reviews
Excellent debugging, analytical, and problem‐solving skills
Positive to Have
Experience with
API automation
and test data management
Exposure to
cloud‐based test execution
(AWS/Azure/GCP)
Knowledge of performance and security testing
Prior experience as
Automation Lead / Architect
Strong leadership and mentoring abilities
Excellent communication and stakeholder management
Proactive mindset with ownership attitude
