Community Infrastructure Planning Project Officer

Full Time, Permanent Opportunity.

$86,800 - $100,000 + 12% Super.

At the City of Armadale, we're strengthening how we understand, plan and deliver the community spaces, facilities and environments that shape daily life for our residents. We're looking for a practical, curious and community minded Community Infrastructure Planning Project Officer to help us coordinate engagement, research, planning and project support across our community and recreational infrastructure portfolio.

About the Role
n
n
Gather, analyse and interpret data to understand community needs, trends and opportunities.
n
Support the development of strategies, business cases, project plans and funding submissions.
n
Coordinate engagement activities and help deliver meaningful consultation with stakeholders.
n
Prepare high quality reports, submissions, documentation and project materials.
n
Work within the City's Project Management Framework to support governance, coordination and delivery.
n
Provide administrative and logistical support including meetings, events, records management and procurement.
n
Identify opportunities, partnerships and funding sources that enhance community outcomes.
n
Assist with financial and operational data analysis, monitoring and acquittal of funding requirements.
n
Build positive working relationships across internal teams, community groups and external partners.
n
n
Your work will help the City plan and deliver community infrastructure that is sustainable,
well researched and responsive to the needs of our residents.
n
About You
n
You're someone who enjoys research, planning, coordination and working with others to deliver projects that make a difference. You bring strong analytical skills, clear communication and a cooperative mindset.
n
n
Have qualifications in Urban & Regional Planning or Community Infrastructure Planning or experience in Recreation Planning (desirable).
n
Have experience conducting research and deriving insights from multiple data sources.
n
Can prepare high quality reports, submissions and funding documentation.
n
Enjoy working with diverse stakeholders and building constructive relationships.
n
Understand governance, risk, financial and project management processes.
n
Hold a C Class Driver's Licence and can obtain a National Police Certificate.
n
Are organised, proactive and committed to delivering well planned community outcomes.
