About the Role
The Financial Analystwill play a key role in supporting financial planning, analysis, and decision-making within a fast-paced, high-growth eCommerce retail environment.
This role is responsible for delivering accurate and timely financial reporting, conducting performance analysis, and developing financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic initiatives.
Partnering with teams across Marketing, Merchandising, and Operations, you'll provide data-driven insights on sales performance, digital marketing ROI, customer acquisition costs, and inventory efficiency.
You'll also maintain and enhance internal reporting tools, automate processes, and contribute to initiatives that strengthen commercial decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver accurate financial analysis and reporting, ensuring compliance and audit readiness
Support budgeting, forecasting, and planning cycles, identifying trends and variances
Build and maintain financial models to assess business performance and opportunities
Analyse monthly results, prepare variance analysis, and present reports and dashboards
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial insights with business goals
Automate and streamline reporting processes for efficiency and accuracy
Assist with external audits and implement corrective actions as needed
Ensure timely and accurate submission of BAS, PAYG, GST, FBT, and Payroll Tax
About You
You're a detail-oriented and analytical finance professional who thrives in a agile, fast-paced environment.
You have a commercial mindset, a love for problem-solving, and the ability to turn complex data into meaningful stories that influence decision-making.
You'll bring
Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Advanced skills in Excel, SQL, and data visualisation (Power BI experience highly regarded)
Solid experience in commercial or financial analysis, ideally within retail or eCommerce
Proven ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage shifting priorities
