About the Role
n
An opportunity exists for an experienced Senior Associate and/orSpecial Counsel (7+ PQE) to join our Restructuring & Insolvencyteam in our Sydney office.
n
This role will see you play a key part on high-profile, complexadvisory and corporate insolvency matters as well asinsolvency-related litigation for insolvency practitioners, ASXlisted corporations, investment banks, private equity andfunders.
n
This role provides a mix of high calibre cutting edge matters,hands on matter management and strategic input alongside thePartners. You will also have the opportunity to train and mentorjunior lawyers.
n
About the Team

Our Restructuring and Insolvency team is regarded by the marketand competitors as a top tier offering. We secured andunsecured creditors, liquidators, voluntary administrators andreceivers throughout Australia and overseas on corporate
workouts,reconstructions
and corporate insolvency. Our expertise is soughtafter in high profile insolvency administrations and in particularbecause we are free from banking panel restrictions.

Our lawyers are skilled at balancing the technical solution withthe unique circumstances surrounding our clients'
businessobjectives.

About You
n
You bring strong technical expertise and relevant experience,but there is much more to you. You:
n
n
deliver legal advice with a commercial and client focusedoutlook, always;
n
work well under pressure, meet your deadlines and excelworking in a team;
n
have strong communication and stakeholder management skillsand you use them effectively, internally and externally;and
n
take a team-oriented, positive and energetic approach toeverything you do;
n




are comfortable and experienced mentoring and trainingjunior lawyers; and
n
will have 7+ years' experience in Restructuring &Insolvency; within a private practice environment
n
