Supporting education, vocational training, and employment programs
Assisting with cultural engagement initiatives
Managing prisoner inductions and accommodation units
Conducting perimeter security and external escorts
Writing reports for case management

Eligibility and Requirements
No Experience?
No Problem!
You don't need prior experience or qualifications to apply, just a current open or provisional driver's licence.
Uniforms & Meals Provided: We'll take care of the essentials so you can focus on what you do best
Formal Qualification: Successful applicants will be required to enrol in, and complete, a Certificate III in Correctional Practice (Custodial) as part of their employment (Delivered by Queensland Corrective Services RTO# ****)
Relocation Assistance: Up to $7,000 for eligible recruits willing to move to our regional centres

Work Arrangements
Shift allowances: Custodial Correctional Officers working in correctional centres attract an aggregated shift allowance of 31.5%
Note: Custodial Correctional Officers working within Courts Unit do not attract aggregated shift allowance (roles are Mon–Fri, 9am–5pm)
