About the role
Drake Medox is seeking fun, enthusiastic and hard‐working support workers within the Burwood area.
Our client, living at home with a Spinal Cord Injury – C4 Quadriplegic, is seeking support workers to join their dynamic team on an on‐going basis.
This is a great opportunity for you to make a difference in our client's life, as well as enhance your skills and knowledge with ongoing client‐specific training.
Our client is seeking someone who has a genuine love of gardening with previous spinal injuries experience; you must have excellent communication and engagement skills.
The right candidate will be versatile and available to work every Mon‐Wed, 7:30‐3:00PM and from Wed‐Sat,



3:00‐8:00 or 9:00PM with any more available shifts as backup and on weekends.
Your key responsibilities
Personal care
Medication administration
Domestic assistance
Bowel Care management
Full supervision of the client
Pressure area management
Work with the client and assist with personal care and manual handling
Assisting and supporting the client in the home and out in the community
About you
Previous disability experience (minimum 2 years)
Minimum Cert III in Disability or other relevant qualifications
Manual handling experience (essential)Current accredited First aid and CPR
Yellow card/NDIS Screening Card
Manual handling certificate (or willing to obtain)
Medication certificate (or willing to obtain)
Right to live and work within Australia
Valid Australian Driver's License
NDIS worker screener check
