We are seeking a talented Graduate / Junior Accountant to join our dynamic team at JYA' in Fitzroy North, Victoria. As a full-time role, you will play a crucial part in supporting our clients with a range of accounting and business advisory services.

What you'll be doing

Training on Bookkeeping Software Xero & MYOB

/n
Preparing and analysing financial reports and statements

/n
Assisting with tax planning and compliance, GST, PAYGW & BAS reporting

/n
Undertaking research and providing recommendations on accounting and business best practices

/n
Collaborating with the wider team to deliver high-quality services to our clients

/n
Participating in ongoing career development to continually expand your skills and knowledge

What we're looking for

A recently completed degree in Accounting or a related field

/n
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

/n
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy

/n
Good communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients and team members

/n




A keen interest in the accounting and business advisory industry

/n
Eligibility for or pursuit of a professional accounting designation (e.g. CA, CPA)
