Driver responsibilities Drivers must:

/n

/n
have a valid

/n/n

Working With Children Check (WWCC) number

/n

/n
have a valid NSW Driving Licence with no suspensions or disqualifications

/n
hold a valid

/n/n

First Aid and CPR certificates

/n

/n
be able to transparent a NSW Police Check

/n
possess English language skills sufficient for the effective delivery of ASTP services

/n
receive clearance from the ASTP before commencing work

/n
clear a medical to as evidence that they are medically fit to drive

/n
maintain a positive driving record

/n
carry driver identification at all times

/n
follow their assigned run card(s)

/n
meet a high standard of professionalism

/n
work collaboratively with Assisted Travel Support Officers (ATSOs) to manage students on transport.

/n
Comply with Code of Conduct

/n
Ensure that child car seats and boosters are installed according to the manufacturer's instructions.

/n
Be aware of the wheelchair tie-down and occupant restraint system (WTORS),



should comply with AS/NZS 10542 and always operate as per the manufacturer's instructions.

/n
Must wear a vest every time a student is transported for the ASTP – not having a vest does not prevent the transportation of a student.

/n/n

high moral and ethical standards, particularly in relation to child safety and wellbeing

clear and open communication with good English skills

/n
ability to establish and maintain valuable working relationships with a variety of stakeholders

knowledge of disability services and understanding the needs of people with disability

deliver reliable services with courtesy and respect, understanding the individual needs of each student

/n
operating within the terms of the Department of Education Code of Conduct and the Contract Agreement.

Hours Hours are approx 20 hours per week. (4 x hours per day) The hours are only offered during school terms. You would be required to work 2 hours each school Mornings and 2 hours on each School afternoon. Further information can be obtained by emailing us at: @cctransportservices.com.au
