Sigma Aerospace is currently seeking experienced B1.3 / B1.4 LAMEs and AMEs to join an established aviation operation in Cairns. We have multiple positions available and are particularly interested in engineers with experience across Robinson R44, Bell 206 and Bell 407 aircraft.

About the Role

The current requirement includes:
2 × R44 Engineers – Bell 206/407 experience highly advantageous.
Additional Bell 206/407 Engineer – Robinson and light Bell experience preferred.
H125 / EC130 experience would also be highly regarded, but is not essential.

The role is primarily based in Cairns, with occasional short-duration travel to alternate bases as required.

Responsibilities

The initial working arrangement is expected to be:
Monday–Friday, or
Monday–Thursday

For the right candidate, there may be an opportunity to transition to a 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off roster after completing initial training and becoming familiar with the operation, typically after the first couple of months.

Qualifications

To be successful, you'll ideally have:




B1.3 / B1.4 LAME or AME qualifications.
CASA-recognised qualifications.
Experience on Robinson R44 and/or Bell 206/407.
