Holt Farming are currently seeking an experienced Forklift Operator to join our sweet potato farm in Bundaberg. This role may involve a mix of outdoor farm work and indoor duties within our packing shed.

To be successful in this role, you will need:
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent attention to detail
Good organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Flexibility with hours and availability for weekend work
Physical fitness and the ability to work in all weather conditions and environments
A current forklift LF License
Robust safety awareness and adherence to secure work practices
Proven forklift operating experience, including loading / unloading trucks, stacking bins and operating in confined spaces




Ability to conduct daily pre-start inspections and basic equipment checks
Competence in handling produce carefully to minimise damage
Ability to follow instructions from the Farm Manager, Packing Shed Manager and Director
Valuable problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and report issues
Experience working in agriculture or a packing shed (highly regarded but not essential)
