S1HR is currently seeking an experienced Forklift Operator / Warehouse Storeperson to join our client's busy produce distribution operation based in Rocklea.
What's on offer
$38.45 per hour
Monday to Friday
4:00am-12:30pm
Ongoing opportunity
Early afternoon finish
Busy, fast-paced warehouse setting
Your duties will include
Unloading, receiving, storing, rotating, packing and dispatching produce
Operating a counterbalance forklift
Picking and putting away pallets in temperature-controlled fridges
Receiving stock, data entry and printing labels
Stacking and labelling fruit trays
Manual handling of 5-10kg
General warehouse duties and housekeeping
Following secure work practices
Learning additional tasks including fruit ripening processes, with the opportunity to work in the ripening room in the futureses,
with the opportunity to work in the ripening room in the future
What we're looking for
Current Forklift Licence
Previous Counterbalance Forklift experience
Warehouse, stores or distribution experience
Comfortable working in different temperature-controlled environments
Confident with basic computer and data entry tasks
Physically fit and comfortable with repetitive manual handling
Solid attention to detail
Reliable and safety focused
Able to reliably start at 4:00am Monday to Friday
Own reliable transport due to the early start
