Job Description

The Cleaner is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic workplace across all production, warehouse, office, amenities, and common areas. Working within a textile manufacturing workplace, the Cleaner plays an key role in ensuring high standards of cleanliness to support employee wellbeing, workplace safety, and product quality.

Key responsibilities

Clean and maintain offices, production areas, warehouses, meeting rooms, lunchrooms, kitchens, bathrooms, and common areas.

/n
Empty rubbish and recycling bins and dispose of waste in accordance with company procedures.

/n
Clean and sanitise toilets, wash basins, showers, kitchen facilities, and other amenities.

/n
Dust, wipe, and sanitise desks, workstations, benches, shelving, windowsills, and other surfaces.

/n
Clean internal glass, mirrors, doors.

/n
Replenish consumable items including soap, paper towels, toilet paper, and hand sanitiser.

/n




Maintain cleanliness of entryways, walkways, and external areas immediately surrounding the workplace where required.

/n
Stock shortages to the Compliance Officer.

/n
Safely store and handle cleaning chemicals in accordance with Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and company procedures.

About you

/n
Previous commercial or industrial cleaning experience preferred.

/n
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

/n
Valuable attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleaning standards.

/n
Reliable, punctual, and organised.

/n
Ability to safely use cleaning chemicals and equipment.

/n
Physically capable of manual handling, standing for extended periods, lifting, bending, and repetitive cleaning tasks.
