What You'll Do
As a FaRS Practitioner, you'll work with individuals, couples, and families using a range of therapeutic approaches to support healthy relationships, prevent family breakdown, and enhance wellbeing.
Your Day-to-Day Will Include
Providing individual and group counselling using evidence-based, trauma-informed frameworks
Supporting families affected by domestic and family violence, separation, and child protection matters
Conducting intake, risk assessments, safety planning, and referrals
Collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver holistic support
Maintaining high-quality case notes, reports, and data for compliance and service improvement
What You Will Bring
Tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Psychology, or Behavioural Sciences (and eligible membership with AASW, APS, or similar)
Strong knowledge of DFV, Child Protection, and Family Law legislation
Proven counselling skills including family systems and brief solution-focused practice
High-level communication, interpersonal and professional integrity
Strong practice framework grounded in trauma-informed, client-centred care
Current driver's licence,
Blue Card, and AFP check (or willingness to obtain)
