This casual role offers 10 + hours per week and is ideal for those who are available for after‐school care Monday to Friday with flexibility to discuss alternative times.
Responsibilities
Provide warm, nurturing care for children across before school, after school, and vacation care
Create a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for all
Plan and deliver fun, inclusive recreational and educational activities
Build positive, respectful relationships with team members
Collaborate with the team to support the best outcomes for children and families

Requirements
Hold (or be working towards) a Certificate III or Diploma in Children's Services or an ACECQA approved equivalent – highly regarded but not essential
Previous childcare experience beneficial but not required
Hold a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
Hold a current Child Protection/Safeguarding qualification
At least one applicant with Monday to Friday after‐school care availability is preferred
Knowledge and understanding of the National Quality Framework, My Time Our Place or Early Years Learning Framework and National Law/Regulations (or ability to acquire)
A passion for the education and care of school‐aged children in a play‐based workplace
Effective oral and written communication skills within the workplace
