Job Title
: Solutions Sales Specialist
This role involves forming partner relationships, understanding partner needs, and delivering tailored solutions to drive sales and partner satisfaction, with particular focus on activities to generate and close deal registered business.
The Solutions Sales Specialist will work closely with our vendors and internal teams including product management, sales engineers, partner support, finance and marketing, to ensure that partner and vendor expectations are met and exceeded. You will identify opportunities for account expansion, revenue/margin growth and retention, acquisition and development.
You will be required to demonstrate an in‐depth understanding of the use cases and licensing for our vendor technologies, together with excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to solving customer challenges.
Responsibilities and KPIs
Develop and execute strategic account plans to expand business within existing accounts and identify new business opportunities
Qualify new enquiries, leverage supporting pre‐sales resources to open up and progress opportunities, and manage quoting and procurement policy adherence to close deals
Develop and maintain strong relationships within your key accounts by ensuring high levels of partner satisfaction and delivering exceptional service and support
Identify opportunities to grow existing accounts by understanding partner needs, conducting regular check‐ins and offering appropriate solutions
Track and report on account engagement progress, account performance, vendor specific activity, sales pipeline, and revenue forecasts
Utilise CRM and other sales tools to document client interactions, monitor sales activity, and manage account status
Prepare regular reports and analysis for internal stakeholders on account growth, challenges, and areas for improvement
Develop and maintain solid relationships with your nominated vendor sales and sales engineer contacts
Take accountability for vendor related requests, expectations, partner engagement and joint opportunity development
Qualifications and Skills
Excellent communication and relationship‐building skills
Strong negotiation and problem‐solving abilities
Strong customer service skills including a sense of urgency and ability to prioritise partner requests
Proficient in using CRM systems and other relevant business tools
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field
