Senior Payroll Officer| Parramatta | $50 P/H plus super
The Company

This 10-month temporary contract offers a dynamic and engaging workload, ensuring your days are both challenging and rewarding. Enjoy the flexibility of a hybrid work model, with 2 – 3 days work-from-home available.
The Position
As Payroll Officer, you will report to the Payroll Manager and be responsible for a full suite of payroll activities:
End-to-end payroll processing for approximately 700 staff on a fortnightly cycle
Calculate and report workers compensation liabilities, including lost time and injured worker payments
Reconcile Long Service Leave (LSL) accruals and payments in line with Enterprise Agreements (EAs) and state legislation
Handle special reconciliations, including shift worker Annual Leave entitlements outside of EAs
Administer salary increases and back payments
Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies promptly and professionally
Maintain professional communications with internal stakeholders, including supervisors, managers, and employees
Manage the payroll aspects of onboarding and offboarding processes efficiently
The Candidate
To excel in this role, you will bring the following:




Proven experience in end-to-end payroll in a large, complex environment
Proficiency with major ERP systems, such as Micropay, SAP, ADP, and Time & Attendance platforms
A proactive and can-do attitude, driven to make a tangible impact
Strong interpersonal and exceptional communication skills
Resilience and eagerness to tackle challenges with initiative and determination
