Job Description
Canex has an opportunity for 20 x Casual Crop Farm Labourers in Caboolture and surrounding regions, Queensland.

The roles can vary and you could be tasked with:
n
n
Manually harvest vegetables by hand or using hand tools - all training provided.
n
Sort, clean, and pack produce in the field according to quality standards.
n
Load harvested produce into bins or trailers.
n
Maintain cleanliness of the field and equipment.
n
Assist with planting, weeding, thinning, and other general field maintenance as needed.
n
Follow all food safety and farm hygiene practices.
n
n
For this exciting role you must have a valuable level of physical fitness, as you are often on your feet and active for the majority of your shift.
n
Requirements:

n
Ready and able to work long shifts (10+ hours a day)
n
Be flexible in your approach to work
n
A great attitude with your work
n




Be neat in tidy
n
Be able to work alone or part of a team.
n
All training will be provided. You will be required to work on average 30 hours per week.
n
The term of work will be from September **** to September ****
n
You will be paid under the Horticulture Award **** [MA******].
n
The work will range in pay from an ordinary rate of Level 1 $*****/hr up to Level 2 $*****+/hr
n
Working hours will vary from anywhere from 6am to 6pm, 7 days per week.
n
Overtime rates will be paid where applicable
n
Upskilling & additional allowances may also be paid if you were trained in extra tasks.
n
