Position:Appian DeveloperExperience:6–8 YearsContract (6 Months + Extendible) - Hybrid
Role Summary
We are looking for an experiencedAppian Developerwith6–8 years of overall IT experienceand strong hands‐on expertise inAppian development and BPM solutions.
The ideal candidate must have prior experience working on projects within theBFSI domain, including Banking, Financial Services, or Insurance.
The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, configuring, integrating, and supporting scalable business process applications using the Appian platform.
The role requires close collaboration with business analysts, architects, QA teams, and other technology stakeholders to deliver secure and effective enterprise solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, configure, and maintain business process applications using theAppian platform.
DevelopAppian interfaces, process models, records, rules, reports, and workflows.
Translate business and functional requirements into scalable Appian solutions.
Develop reusable and maintainable application components following Appian best practices.
Design and implement integrations between Appian and external systems usingREST/SOAP APIs and web services.
Work with databases and perform data integration usingSQL and relational databases.
Configure and manage Appian objects, security, groups, roles, and application access.
Troubleshoot application issues and provide production support when required.
Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, testing, and deployment activities.
Collaborate with Business Analysts, Solution Architects, QA teams, and business stakeholders throughout the SDLC.
Perform unit testing and support integration testing, UAT, and production deployments.
Analyze performance issues and optimize Appian applications and process models.
Follow enterprise development standards, security guidelines, and Appian best practices.
Contribute to continuous improvement and automation of business processes.
Required Skills & Experience
6–8 years of total professional IT experiencewith strong hands‐on Appian development experience.
Mandatory experience working in theBFSI domain – Banking, Financial Services, or Insurance.
Robust hands‐on experience withAppian BPM/Low-Code platform.
Experience developingAppian SAIL interfaces, process models, expression rules, decision rules, interfaces, records, and reports.
Strong understanding ofAppian objects and application architecture.
Experience withAppian integrations using REST/SOAP APIs and web services.
Good knowledge ofSQL and relational databases.
Experience withAppian security, groups, roles, and access management.
Experience withAppian deployment and application lifecycle management.
Good understanding ofSDLC and Agile development methodologies.
Experience in debugging, troubleshooting, performance optimization, and production support.
Strong analytical and problem‐solving skills.
Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience withAppian Certified Developercertification is preferred.
Experience working on enterprise‐grade Appian implementations.
Exposure toCI/CD, DevOps, and automated deployment processes.
Experience integrating Appian with banking, financial, insurance, or third‐party enterprise systems.
Understanding of BFSI processes such aspayments, lending, loans, claims, policy administration, KYC, AML, customer onboarding, or financial operationsis an advantage.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a hands‐onAppian Developerwith strong BPM and low‐code development experience who can independently build and support enterprise applications.
The candidate must have proven experience delivering solutions in aBFSI environmentand should be comfortable working with cross‐functional teams in an Agile delivery model.
