Due to recent growth and an increased pipe line of work, I Connect Advisory is seeking a qualified FTTB technician to join our team performing internet installations for major ISPs across residential buildings in Sydney.
This is a outstanding opportunity to join an established organization in the telecommunications space in the Sydney CBD and surrounding suburbs and further your growth in the cabling field.
Responsibilities
Complete jumpering and testing of customer services at units and at the MDF/IDF room
Communicate clearly with customers to ensure they are left satisfied and informed
Present yourself professionally when liaising with building and facilities managers
Manage tools, materials, and vehicle stock to ensure readiness for daily work
Ensure jobs are completed safely and complying with ACMA and WHS protocols




Provide regular updates to the team and project manager on job progress
Take and record clear photos of incomplete work or work pending completion
Ideal Candidate
Holds an ACMA Open Cabling License
Has a current drivers license and reliable vehicle
Owns suitable testing and hand tools
1-2 years experience in FTTB, NBN, Copper/Fibre cabling or similar
Good verbal and written communication
Other NBN experience ideal but not essential (FTTC, FTTN, FTTP)
Ability to troubleshoot copper cabling issues within residential apartment buildings
Must be an Australian Citizen or permanent resident
Availability to operate within the nominated work hours 8am - 4pm Monday to Friday
